Our Own Range
We shoot every other Saturday on our historic 25yrd 8 lane range. We have great variety of targetry, including steels. We maintain our own range, capable for many calibres.
Club Equipment
Why not try your hand? There is no expensive initial outlay just to take part! Club rifles and carbines, Chronograph, and practical "props" are available. New members will be coached in the use of all club equipment and procedures, no need to be nervous.
Probationary Training
Learn the ropes from qualified instructors and experienced shooters. Gain your NRA Shooter Certification Card. All welcome, including to our vibrant youth cadre. Family friendly, with many members whoose children are also attend
Safety First!
NRA Qualified Range Officers, unblemished safety record, constant safety procedure review and improvement.
Practical Shooting
Our Practical section shoots exciting and interesting courses of fire Saturday range day mornings. UKPSA Affiliated.
Club Competitions
Lots of fun club competitions, including our (in)famous Christmas Shoot. Prises for all!
Blackpowder & historical
Blackpowder and historical pieces often shot. Lots of knowledge to be gleaned!
Visits & Trips
Lots of visits to other ranges and clubs. Club trips to Bisley and NITSA ( for Pistol Shooting ). So we can shoot from 25 yards out to 1100 yards
Vibrant Social Life
Christmas Dinners, Archery evenings, barbeques on range maintenance days, clay pigeon shoots, and lots more!
